An entangled dragonfly （被缚天使）

I once rescued a magnificent golden dragonfly from a church chair where it had become entangled （束缚）in a spider's web. It was feebly （无力的）trying to free its wings and legs.In a few secods I had pulled away the strands（粘丝）,allowing it to rise up again into the freedom of the Sunday morning air.

It made me think about myself,and about all of us.Here was this powerful creature of incredible beauty left unable to fly because of a few sticky（黏性的） threads（丝线）.Its whole life was paralyzed（使瘫痪）.

How often we become buried in darkness and depression because of one insignificant（微不足道的）worry or frustration!The angrier we become the less able we are to escape.Eventually we cannot move any more,stuck in our own misery（痛苦，穷困）.But if we chose to let go,to refuse to allow ourselves to be ttrapped in self-pity,we'll be free to move on ,and to be bealed.
